PDF Strike is a small set of single-purpose PDF tools. Each one does one job, does it in your browser, and gets out of the way.

Why the files stay on your device

Most online PDF tools work by uploading your document to a server, processing it there, and sending a result back. That means your file — which might be a contract, a medical record or a passport scan — sits on someone else’s computer, at least for a while.

PDF Strike does the work in the browser instead, using the same rendering and document libraries a desktop application would use. There is no upload step, no server-side processing, and no storage. If you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded, the tools keep working.

How it is paid for

The site is free and supported by display advertising. Advertising is served in fixed, clearly labelled slots that never move the page around, and ad code never receives your file or anything derived from it.
